holidays: approximately 145,000 passengers forecasted for the period from 23
December 2003 to 6 January 2004.
The number of passengers at Naples International
Airport between 23 December and 6 January expected to be in the area of
145,000, representing a 6% increase over the preceding
year.
Average daily traffic forecasts call for roughly 9,700
passengers/day with 70% on domestic routes and the remaining 30% on
international flights. The busiest travel days are anticipated to be Tuesday 30 December and
6 January with approximately 11,500 passengers/day.
Movements (takeoffs and landings) during the period in question are expected to be in
the area of 1,850 with a
daily average of 123 movements.
The top destinations selected this
year are, once again, major European capitals such as London, Paris and
Prague and Sharm el Sheik and Tunisia for those seeking more
exotic vacations.
